Built to apply Faraday’s law from first-year electricity and magnetism: a changing magnetic field around coils induces voltage. The generator uses four stationary 80-turn copper coils and a flywheel with six alternating-pole neodymium magnets.

A gear train steps up crank speed into the magnet assembly. Coils feed a full-bridge rectifier for DC measurement. FEA guided fillet changes at the crank–gear joint to reduce stress concentrations. Assembled output: steady 1.42 V DC.
