PID Line Tracker
Line follower with PID, color sensing, and ultrasonic obstacle handling. First place in class.

- Lego Mindstorms
For Mechatronics Design 1, I built a Lego Mindstorms robot that follows a line while detecting and navigating obstacles. A PID controller adjusts motor speeds from color-sensor feedback; an ultrasonic sensor handles obstacle logic.
Rather than tracking line center, the sensor rides the right edge so ground vs. tape RGB readings drive left/right corrections. RobotC (without PID) and MicroPython (with PID) versions were both required.
The robot posted the fastest class time on the course, including sharp 30° turns, earning an A+.
